GameCrush’s Crush-O-Matic Blends Chatroulette With Online Gaming

TechCrunch Disrupt finalist GameCrush is launching its own take on the Chatroulette-like experience today with Crush-O-Matic. The new service is a random game generator where users simply click “Go!” and automatically get matched up with another user in a two-way cam-enabled game session.

Bump Raises $16 Million Round Led By Andreessen Horowitz

If you’ve got an iPhone or Android device, there’s a decent chance you’re familiar with Bump , the nifty service that lets you swap contact information (and other data) by simply tapping two phones together. The service has been around since 2009, and now has 7 million active users across 25 million total installs on Android and iOS devices. And today Bump has some big news: it’s just raised $16 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Sequoia, Sherpalo (Ram Shriram), and SV Angel (Ron Conway).

Klout CEO: We Made the Decision to Go for It (TCTV)

Klout’s funding news this morning was quickly drowned out by Square’s funding and then both were drowned out by Groupon’s gargantuan round . But for Klout, the funding round was pretty significant. In raising a surprisingly large $8.5 million, the company was singling its decision not to take a flip and to try to build a big company out of measuring influence online.

Restaurant Reservation Startup VillageVines Raises $3 Million

Hearst Interactive Media , early investors in companies like Pandora, Netscape and Local.com, has taken the lead in a $3 million round of funding for VillageVines , a startup that offers member discounts at upscale restaurants in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and other major cities in the United States. The media company’s interactive arm led the round, which follows a $750,000 round seed funding round, with GrandBanks Capital and High Peaks Venture Partners participating
